The lever with the black top doesn't control all 4 props just number 1. I can control them individually with the small levers on the console. The red bar is across them if that means anything. Thx in advance!

The only way to control all 4 props is to assign 2 joystick buttons.
In FSX go to OPTIONS/SETTINGS/CONTROLS. Select the BUTTONS/KEYS tab. Scroll down to Propellers in the event column. Assign a button to "Propeller (increase RPM incrementally)" and another button to "Propeller (decrease RPM incrementally)" In the REPEAT column move the slider all the to the right (do this for both buttons. Also, it helps if you assign a keyboard hotkey to "Propeller sync(on/off)" I use Ctrl+Shift+S. perform this when you first load your aircraft. JibJab |

I too think this sucks. It is a sign of bad development of the plane, about which I kinda ranted already in another post.
Still, the joystick is not the only option. You can assign 'increase RPM' and 'decrease RPM' keys. Actually I think the game already has them set somewhere on the keyboard, in an uncomfortable position - I moved them to the numerical pad. If you use said keys, they will increase or decrease the RPM of all propellers at the same time. Still... to have the thing working as it should would have been so good! |
