I Just wondered with all the new liveries now being used by a lot of carriers whether you guys intend to do an update patch for T360 in the future?

To provide my thoughts on an answer to this question, I feel it is necessary to start with Traffic 360's predecessor, Traffic X ...

At release, Traffic X unfortunately came with liveries for airlines that had actually been defunct for many years, and even included an early concept 787 model design that turned out to be nothing like the eventually released aircraft. For the entire time the Traffic X was available and being advertised as the next big thing in AI Traffic programs, it never once received any updates to remove those defunct liveries, add new liveries, update the 787 model, populate newly opened airports, etc.

In other words, there were never any such updates for Traffic X, for the entire duration that it was on the shelves.

OK, now ...

It is fair to say that Traffic 360 is simply a re-worked version of Traffic X. Traffic 360 merely combined all of the aircraft from Traffic X and its two expansion packs (military and civilian) in to one single installation, and gave it a slightly reworked user interface. In fact, at its release, Traffic 360 still contained those same defunct airlines that Traffic X initially came with. Worse, Traffic 360 still included the early concept, and very incorrect, 787 model design(!) rather than changing this for its release with the actual correct model design.

Therefore ...

Putting it all together, logic seemingly dictates that, just like Traffic X, Traffic 360 probably won't get any updates to remove defunct liveries, add new liveries, update the 787 model, populate newly opened airports, etc.

I can't see it happening.

Hi Freddy

Sorry not replied sooner - its a real shame JustFlight dont take the opportunity to do this, I'm guessing they'll bring out a whole new Traffic 2016 probably at some point with the usual upgrade facility?? When all they need to do really is provide new texture packs!

Hehe, "Traffic 2016". Probably true. And it will likely still have the defunct liveries and incorrect 787 model in it too.
