After my first trial to refuel with the tanker, I have following questions:
What do you aim at when flying behind the tanker? The probe is on the right, so I don't want to have the fuel hose on the radom and cannot aim at the funnel. Maybe one also has a tipp on how to keep the altitude. The closer I got, the more I started porpoising.
Unfortunately I moved the probe extend switch too far to emergency, what means, it doesn't retract anymore. After landing, it didn't retract either. How can I reset this? The manual doesn't cover this. I know, loading another aircraft, but this is not simulating the system. The Fuelprobe is moved by a switch, I loved to have a keyboard command next to the switch. You can not look down while approaching the tanker. Maybe in real life, where the motions do not become stuttering and every steering input is better recognized. Looking forward to comments Dan P.S. Isn't she a beauty ? |
