Hi,
Just a point for any future update if I'm correct in my observation.

I was posted to Tornado F3's in Leeming during the 90's-2000's, when closing the cockpit an audible alarm automatically sounded something close to a car horn, when the action was complete the horn automatically stopped, I never worked on the GR's but I imagine these were the same but feel free to let me know if I'm wrong.

It's a small point but I really hate the caution tone and the fact you have to silence it manually.

I agree but its not a hard problem Justflight PM me I have this recorded in HD Sound

The GR1 does sound an alarm on both deploying the canopy and retracting

But this can also be muted at the same time so it's optional

Hi,

As far as I recall from my time working on Tornado aircraft the warning horn only sounded on canopy closure. There was no horn sound during canopy opening.

As per the real aircraft the horn will only be heard when the canopy is closing, however there are also sounds for the canopy mechanism that will be heard when the canopy is opening and closing.
