146 climb rate problems

   I have been flying the 146 quite a bit now, but I find that the aircraft really struggles to climb at a reasonable vertical speed once over 15-20000ft. At this height I have to keep the throttles 'firewalled' and only achieve a few hundred feet per minute. I have yet to actually exceed 30000 ft. The aircraft is not overweight or overloaded, so is this normal, or is there a problem with the product?
