X52 PRO question

   First off,brill stick,thing is when i was using it for fs2004 the mfd was perfect,the little LEDs would come on when autopilot,gears up/down and flaps in operation used to light up while these were in use,now since ive gone over to FSX the MFD works fine but i dont get the same results on the LEDs,when i engage gears/auto or flaps the lights just stay on green
Question:is this normal?(ive read that the lights can change in fsx) but having posted on the saitek forum ive had no response,im using xp with the latest drivers for the stick.
The stick works just not the active lights,
