cabin pressure issue pro

   ok im not sure whats going on, on my cabin pressure control I have a faul, I have set the cabin alt and baro correctly, the problem is it appears the cabin alt and cabin climb is directly related to the vsi and alt indicator.  it shows the safety valce open,  am I missing something in the pressurization system?
