I agree - eBay are profiting on the back of criminal proceeds. In my book that makes them as guilty as the party selling the counterfeit goods.

If I profited from the sale of fake goods on the high street, I'd be prosecuted, so in that case, so should eBay. It's no different.

eBay have it easy at the moment - they can make money from anywhere (even from the proceeds of crime) and are effectively immune. I think the sooner Auction laws apply to them, the better. FYI at the moment, eBay is not considered an auction house for legal purposes. If they were, they'd have to tighten up their operation something crazy.
