What did I buy?

   Hello.  I bought 
                            "Railway Simulator: Trainz Simulator 12 (Boxed)
                        "  When I installed it I was directed here, and I find there's a train simulator 13 and a train simulator 14.  What did I buy, an obsolete version?  Will any of the DLC on this site work with what I bought?  Please help me get oriented, thanks!
