I'm one of those general flyers who don't like it to difficult and having my fun with the A318/A319.

Can I fly the BAE 146 just as the A318 without all to difficult stuff? Mainly trying to say, ALT / HDG/NAV speed set and fly from A -> B

Or is this nice aircraft a step further into the professional flying and should i stick more in the F-lite range?

(I was looking for a nice FSX BAE ATP, but only found a freeware one for FS9)

The 146 is a step up from the F Lite range for example it doesn't have an autothrottle and change of altitude is controlled either by airspeed or desired rate of climb or descent. The autopilot is different from Boeing or Airbus and takes a little getting used to but once you do it's a great short hauler.

I would go for it as the learning curve is a big part of the pleasure.
