I have just test flown my new Tristar download and it is really good except for one problem I found.
When I set the initial cruise altitude the aircraft climbs to that height but then passes through it and then descends to find it then passes through it and climbs again to find it. This "hunting" goes on for a while until it eventually settles down and rounds off at the set altitude. Exactly the same happened in the descent. Is it something I am doing wrong (I set the altitude, arm the ALT switch, etc) or do others have the same problem?

I've found the same thing, not sure if that happened in the real world. I turn down the rate of climb/descent when I'm near the desired altitude.

I am sure it didn't happen in the real world! I flew on this aircraft many times with Gulf Air in the 1970s and I think I would have noticed being very airsick if this is what happened!
It must be bug in the programme!
