Does anyone know how to create a 2d autopilot window for the dc8. I have fspanel and have checked all the relevant dc8 gauge files with no luck. I believe strongly that this aircraft needs one for more steady flight.

There are no 2d gauges, so you can't. You could open a new window and create a view of the AP, or what I prefer, is to have the second vc view show the pedestal instead of that panoramic right seat view. Once the eyepoint and zoom is adjusted properly it's a nice quick click to view the radio/ap and click to return to the normal vc view.

Actually, that's a good suggestion. I had never found a good use for that side window, but now it makes sense.

Unfortunately the DC-8 does not come with any 2D panels. Sorry for any inconvenience.
