Still a WIP, but should be done by soon. I will send it to Avsim as soon as it is ready. Still need to fix the fuselage "Delta" and make spec maps.
This depicts N8027 (Ex-PanAm N802PA). In service with Delta from August of 1969 until January of 1974.

As a side-note... If anyone from JF happens to look at this. Is there any plans to do a 50/60/70 series DC-8 expansion? Those are the ones that I would really like to have for my Delta flying pleasure.

Excellent work!
Hopefully first of many paints for this aircraft. So many to do for the -30: KLM JAL Braniff National - "Sun King" United - "Friendship" Panagra Just to name a few... I too hope we get the -50 & Jet Trader versions. Then the repaint world really opens up... Bill |

For anyone interested in real world flights for Delta's early DC-8 you can look at the 1973 itinerary here.
http://www.departedflights.com/DL030173p86.html It is any of the flights with equipment listed as DC-8. The D8F is the 50 and the D8S is the 60. |
