Traffic 360 is great so far but....how do you turn off or delete the annoying AI traffic noise when AI traffic take off or lands ?

I second this comment. It's way too loud and sounds like an electric weed eater.
Overall, I am happy with the product, but this particular noise is truly annoying. I am surprised that the original post is five days old and yet there is no comment from the developer. |

Thats because you have to report the problem as described in this post: |

I have reported the problem using that system. And in fact I see that I did receive a reply as follows:
The only way to remove the AI noises would be to rename the folder Traffic360_Sounds to XTraffic360_Sounds. The folder can be found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\JFTraffic360\JFAI-AllAircraft\Traffic360_Sounds. Wouldn't it be more efficient for the deveoloper simply to post the reply in the forum so everyone could see it? I don't really want to eliminate all the traffic sounds, but rather modify or replace tne one sound in particular. I guess I will go through the folder you've pointed me to and try to find it. Thanks for the reply. |

If you find out which file is the culprit please let us know. It's driving me crazy it's too loud and unrepresentative of anything I have ever heard at any airport.
Cheers!

Same here. Too off from Seattle in helo (EH-101) and watched a 737 take off and the jet noise was loud within the cockpit. One likely would be unable to hear it over the helo turbine itself. Any of you running Accu-feel as well? Perhaps it can be turned down within Accu-feel?

I purchased Traffic360 on Christmas Eve and have been flying several hours each day since then. I agree with the others here about one of the AI jet turbine sounds. It is annoying, loud, and not even close to realistic.

The offending sound files are these (found in JFAI-AllAircraft/sound.jet2/):
x737a-n1f01 x737a-n1f02 x737a-n1f03 x737a-n1f04 x737b-n1f01 x737b-n1f02 x737b-n1f03 x737b-n1f04 |

[wherever your main FSX installation is located]/simobjects/trafficx/jfai-allaircraft/sound.jet2/ I wouldn't recommend deleting the offending sound files. It's probably better to simply rename them.
