When I posted my 1st reply in this thread it was a sunny day here and now it's snowing, within the space of 1 hour.

Actually it was more like 3 inches. Shockingly massive don't you think Piperman??? Always remember there's more than one dimension.
P.S. The monkey for your avatar is very appropriate. Have you noticed how we get a couple of inches of snow these days and everyone goes WOW! Just shows how little of the white stuff [Stop it Piperman ] we get these days. When I was a lad there were six foot drifts of the stuff.

It snowed in some places 1/2 a foot on the North Downs, and I saw someone slip, they broke their shoulder, and there was a heli who turned up. Really whipped up the snow when it landed. Funny thing was it landed with lots of walkers out, but no-one guiding the chopper, or stopping people coming to close.

"touché"
The snow here lasted for about an hour so didn't come to anything. I do remeber being younger with proper snow stprms as Martin said.
