Have enjoyed all the GTA games, but didn't care too much for GTA4. I thought GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas were masterpieces and I hope that 5 doesn't follow suit from 4, where its basically to just flex incredible graphical capabilities but leave a pretty mediocre story line and characters.

Anybody got any suspicions on where its going to be set? Anybody even care?

No, not for me, although my son has the previous titles.
 
BF3 is out in a couple of days which is something i'll grab.

It come out yesterday Martin, got mine through the post today from Zavvi.
 
I'll be installing mine after work. There's been some moans about it on the BF BC2 Forums, but I'm sure they're just the ones who don't welcome change.

I wouldn't get too excited just yet, it won't be out for a while. The announcement has only been made as their share price was falling due to not having an Xmas release this year.

To be honest, I used to be a fan of the series but found GTA4 last one so boring and repetitive that I've given up on these now.

My favourite has to be Vice City, I really liked that one. GTA3 and SA was both excellent as well.
 
I never really got into GTA4, the port to the PC was a bit of a shambles, and could never get it to run on my C2D, by the time I got an i7 last year, I wasn't that bothered about trying it out.

Ah, the e-mail I got on Monday was EA USA, I didn't realise we were later for the release in the UK. I thought I was a couple of days late to the game.

That's just the tacked on single player campaign though. Battlefield was never a single player game.
