Hi,
I was looking for a train sim that doesn't take 8 hours and 8 gig to download. I got the Railworks 2 but it's a download program. I have justflight flight sim with add ons, and they are on a disc, put em in and it loads it. Thats what i'm after with just trains, but i want a decent one with decent add ons etc. Can anyone give me any help please?

+1 It's remarkably good. Ok, you could argue it's only one line and one train. But the level of detail in it surely makes up for that. You can get off the train and walk around any of the stations, which are extremely accurate. There's also a set of missions included with different scenarios, which involve travelling on the line as a passenger, shunting trains in the sidings, etc. |

Kind regards,

Don't forget that RailWorks 2 is available on a disc in a box, so that'd save any long download time if your connection isn't very fast. You will however find that Steam will automatically update RailWorks with any patches that have been released for the simulator, so there may still be a small download that takes place after installing off of the disc.
