Sound Issue

   On FS, i've noticed sometimes that my speakers (tried it with headphones and it still happens) will have a very feint static noise in the background, and then suddenly I won't hear FS anymore just this really loud static noise.

Is there something conflicting with my sound card? or is it just a superficial problem?

My soundcard is the EMU10K1 Audio Chipset.
