Ahh ye soft southern sassenach ye! I was in a bothy in Braemar for New Year, -17C and 6ft snow drifts out the front door. Nae problem laddie! Insulated by the warming power of alcohol, and got up the next morning to dig us out in -5C - quite a cure for a hangover that, but better being inside a small cottage, with 6 children! |

Same, no snow yet but Met Office is now giving severe weather warnings (Red - the most extreme warning) for London so it should start snowing later tonight and in the early hours of the morning. Hope school will be off tomorrow. My exams start next Monday but study leave doesn't start until after everyone's last exam - don't ask, my school is stupid!
