Didn't look that difficult, runway looks miles long and it would be interesting to know why the sharp turn onto final, is it due to terrain, or did the pilot just make a hips of it, or was he just showboating. Seemed to come in quite flat actually.

Yeah - looks ok. Bit low on the approach though, with a standard flapped approach you'd have a better picture of the runway ahead. And certainly didn't short field it in.
Biggest problem would be windshear off all those lovely trees. If you look at the sectional here presumably the sharp turn was for terrain avoidance coming down the valley from the NE. However, the notes for the airport state "Land East, Takeoff West" so either this was shot prior to that, or he was landing on 24 anyway. |
