Great shots, I've been to Fort William a few times, but never seen it on a day like that.

I agree, I am now sick of the snow. Got stuck in it today. In a Landrover Discovery 3. So lost all my manpride.

Here is a picture taken just before I got stuck.

Agree this topic is a bit long in the tooth now.

I'm mad! I got a nice X-mas gift from Mother Nature (Midwestern Christmas Blizzard of 2009)

over a foot of snow on top of another foot from a few weeks ago that didn't melt. Sigh... Guess who gets to clear it. Oooo another storm's on the way!

Ah well. Glad you're enjoying the snow Smile

Just woken up this morning and there is very deep snow, about a foot and a half.  Almost covered my cats head!

Pretty much gone here as well.

All the pavements where I live are all badly marked after the machines have been clearing them.  Looks very untidy.

Snows gone here too.  I've noticed too that all the road surfaces are in a terrible state with lots of new potholes and cracks.  I can only assume it's down to all the salt they've had thrown over them these last couple of months.  It's nice that it's warmer again now too - got up to 7 degrees today!
Kind regards,
Tom

I'll give you a tip when melted snow freezes into ice it expands.

I also find the roads in a bad state, loads of potholes. It is a result of the freezing weather, water gets into cracks, freezes, expands and that is how the roads are damaged
