I agree with many of the members here, there are lots of bugs with this model. I seem to have had em all, some have been address (dark panel) from suggestions by this forum. One I find annoying is the Radio Panel, very hard to see and set in both modes. I have resorted to installing the default Bendix_King_Radio STACK in a 2D window as an interim fix.

 

There seems to be promises made about patches some time ago. I have asked the Support Desk to give me some sort of time line and awaiting a reply.

 

For now I’m staying with the A2A B377/Accusim and the G model by Manfred Jahn. I haven't written of my investment yet but am disappointed.

We hope to have the update for the Connie base pack ready within the next couple of weeks, followed by the add-on packs

Well the "next couple of weeks" has now stretched to nearly 2 months, add-on packs have been on the market for some time and still, none of the issues with the base product have been addressed.

In the mean time my Connie just sits in a paddock collecting dust.

OK I have installed the updates, here are my initial observations as submitted to support:-

There are still loads of very obvious problems:
  1. Both the Oil Cooler Flaps switches and Cowl Flaps switches operate the Cowl Flaps only.
  2. Only the No #1 Fuel Pump displays the fuel pump on or off. The remaining 3 remain ON.
  3. There are 2 sets of Carb Heater switches - Why?? They operate in opposite directions.
  4. The Prop Feather Covers are ALL marked as “Pitot Heater” switches.
  5. On the C69 the Flight Engineers panel one cannot Pan around. I corrected this by setting the “SnapPphAdjust = swivel” under CameraDefinitions.002 in the aircraft.cfg file.
  6. On the L049 Passenger View one cannot Pan around. I corrected this by setting the “SnapPphAdjust = swivel” and “PanPbhAdjust = swivel” under CameraDefinitions.005 in the aircraft.cfg file.
  7. For whatever reason the Front Left and Front Right Fuel tanks are under the FSX default Center and Center 2 configuration in the Fuel and Payload section. Make sure these are reasonably balanced or you will be fighting all the way to keep on the aircraft trimmed.
  8. The C69 VC Cockpit is still very dark. They did not implement the correction required. Add the ‘h’ to the end of this instruction in the aircraft.cfg file -----  light.6 =  4, 27.75, 0, 1.5,  fx_vclighth.
  9. OK they have added some ‘Tool Tips’ to make the radio stack easier to operate but I still find the imagery too blurred, even when zoomed, to operate effectively.
