very nice screenshots. Ive worked on the 767 many times, lovely machine. Ive noticed one small anomoly though :S..no fuel dump outlets on the trailing edges of the wing, they are quite noticable on the real thing, but otherwise very excited about this product

Looks great, but seeing as it is F-Lite can you tell us what systems are and aren't available?

F-lite are a 'light the fires and burn the tyers' series of add on so I'd expect there to be a basic FMC and a GPS.

Why are you going to charge £35 for it where as other f-lite models are only £19.99? Its a lot of money conpared to the C-130 and 757 Captain wich are £29.95.

Hi Edward,

The boxed FS2004/FSX version will be £34.95

The download FS2004/FSX version will be £29.99

The download FSX version will be £19.99

The download FS2004 version will be £19.99

The prices reflect the content included in various packages. It is of course subject to special offers/discounts/reward points

Thanks

Ohh that seems ok (except the boxed price). For £35 I'd want something more detailed. then F-lite.

I agree, it makes sense to charge more for both versions but very few people will actually use both, and £35 is a lot for a single F-lite boxed add-on.

£35 why would you buy an F-lite add-on for £35 when you could get the 757 Captain which is much more detaild for £30? This dosen't make any sense to me.

or meConfused. You could get the PMDG MD-11X for £40. So the F-lite 767 is going to be on a par with PMDG/Captain Sim add ons. If it was the CS 767 I might understand but F-liteConfused

I just don't understand the pricing.  Does it not seem logical to buy a more complex add-on which is cheaper than an add-on with reduced complexity?

I think it would be fair to compare like with like, which has not been the case up to now.

The products mentioned as alternatives are FSX-only. For £19.66 you can buy the F-Lite 767-200/300 by download for EITHER FSX or FS2004 and upgrade it with extra aircraft for £5.99 per sim. We think that's excellent value and a lot cheaper than, for example, the $79.99 quoted for the FSX-only MD-11. However, if you want a BOXED product that contains a printed manual, aircraft for BOTH sims, upgrades for BOTH sims, then the SRP is £34.99 - a lot cheaper than if you bought all the different versions individually. A download version of this full 'combo' package will be £29.99.
Naturally, there will be discounts to be had off the retail price of the boxed version. We'll probably offer a Just Rewards deal or some price incentive for anyone pre-ordering (and Play.com will probably do it for £4.99 with a free laptop). I hope this reassures everyone that we are not charging £35 for a single F-Lite aircraft, and if you want to get airborne in a fantastic 767 you can do it for less than £20.

Customers have told us that generally they only use one sim, so would prefer to buy products that are 'sim-specific' if this means they can save money by not paying for both versions. We've reacted to that with this product, but we also think there is a market for a 'complete' product on DVD.
