Hiya all,

Am wanting to buy a decent Airbus sim, mainly for the A320.  Just wondered if any of you are using either both the JF and wilko versions and which is best?  I like a fairly complex one and also with a cabin interior so maybe the wilko volume 1 version?  What do you think?

I would wait for the AS A320, however if you can't wait, the JF/Wilco Airbus Series 1 isn't bad I hear.

Plus JF's support is good. I've bought the 757 Captain, 737 PIC, British Airports, SR-71 and much more from them & never had problems with support.

Quite simply, no

Our version does exactly the same things as Wilco's, so you can do cold & dark startups

The JF version is, as above, practically the same as Wilco's.

JF are selling a Wilco product, so it's the same.

Yeah but for the JF you don't have the Airbus Corporate Jetliner I think and i'm not sure if you have the bonus DVD from Justplanes Exclamation

Yes but at £39 for the Wilko version, I think I'll go for the JF one.  I prefer JF anyway. I'm sure I read it on the Flightstore website that you can only do a cold and dark startup using FS9. But thanks Martyn for confirming that you can.

I have the JF Airbus series 1, It's great! - although I haven't a clue how to use it properly!

This is because they are very different from the Boeings I fly!

ICE- Try my tutorial for the Airbus.  You then have a good idea how to opperate the 'bus' properly.

The JF/wilco Airbus Series 1 is good but not brilliant. 7/10 seems a fair score. The overhead panel could do with a little work and the FMC also lacks functionality. Its OK but not brilliant.

I know it's still in progress, but the VC looks pretty bad compared to some other Airbus add-ons.

It's unfinished, Tom!  Looks like the top texture hasn't been applied yet (as it's not shiny).
Kind regards,
Tom

AKAIK, the Aerosoft Bus is a "Jump in and Fly" plane. Very nice on the visuals, looking at the plane, but no need to go through programing to get it off the ground, just Ctrl+E and your off.
