   Why didn't they do this before?!?!

I can understand their wanting to help prevent piracy, but restricting the bit rate to 128 kbps is rubbish. 256 kbps is far superior and adds a depth that was lacking before. It was starting to sound clipped in places, too.

The down-side is that only 7 tracks in my collection are upgradeable. Here's to hoping other labels realize DRM is a complete waste of time. Just in case they need any proof, check out any number of P2P servers, and then let those of us who enjoy music have decent sounding bit-rates.
