HUSTLER !

When the mighty Convair B58 Hustler entered service in 1960 she was the fastest bomber in the west and claimed many world records, many still stand. The B58 served until 1970 until supplanted by later models of the F111 series. the aircrasft was extremely noisy and one of them was used to test routes for Concorde and gauge public reaction to supersonic overflights,the weapons were carried in the large pod below the fuselage which once empty could be jettisoned for extra speed.
